Don’t Miss the Deadline: Applications Due July 31
Harrisburg, Pa. – July 1, 2026 – The Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 grant program, continuing its longstanding commitment to supporting organizations that improve the lives of horses and people through equine-assisted services. Equine rescue programs and therapeutic riding centers are encouraged to submit completed applications by July 31.
Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1999, the PNHS Foundation has remained dedicated to its mission of “enriching lives through equestrian sport” for more than 25 years. Each year, the foundation awards grants that help organizations provide veterinary care, purchase therapy equipment, expand program offerings, fund student scholarships and so much more.
Grant funding is made possible thanks to generous donors and the sponsors and supporters of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, held each October at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 2025, the PNHS Foundation was able to award $125,000 in grant funding to 59 equine rescue and therapeutic riding programs. To see the full list of 2025 grant recipients, click here.

Following the conclusion of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show’s 80th anniversary — to be held October 8–18 — all grant applications will be reviewed, with the recipients named and funding allocations awarded in January 2027.
