Harrisburg, PA – March 4, 2021 – The Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) announced today the hiring of full-service public relations firm RandolphPR as the horse show prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary on October 14-23, 2021.
Based less than 10 miles away from the PNHS’s home at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA, RandolphPR is uniquely positioned to provide media expertise and marketing strategy pertaining to both the equestrian industry and the local community.
Led by Emily Randolph, RandolphPR will provide fresh perspective and ideas as the PNHS looks to celebrate 75 years of rich history and tradition while simultaneously continuing to grow, improve and adapt for the next 75 years ahead.
“The stars have aligned to have Emily right in our backyard,” said Susie Shirk, Executive Director of the PNHS Foundation. “With her experience in the equestrian world and in working with other horse shows, she brings a new perspective to the PNHS. We are excited to be working with her this year.”
As a local to the area, Randolph grew up attending the PNHS and has spent the last eight years at the horse show in a media capacity during her work for other industry-leading equestrian public relations firms, Phelps Media Group and Jump Media.
Now, for Randolph, welcoming the PNHS as a client is a dream come true.
“As a public relations executive, there are two or three horse shows that have always been on my bucket list to work with, and the PA National Horse Show was at the top of that list,” said Randolph, who launched RandolphPR in 2020.“Susie Shirk is doing a fantastic job at the helm of the PNHS, and I was thrilled when she reached out to me about the opportunity to work with the horse show in this exciting anniversary year.
“While covering the horse show each year as part of the media, I have always had a bit of a running list of ideas in my head that I would love to implement from a PR perspective, and I’m thrilled to now have that opportunity!” continued Randolph.
RandolphPR will work alongside the PNHS team on all facets of the horse show’s press and marketing, including media coverage and partnerships, social media, sponsorship activations and fulfillment, the introduction of new initiatives and more.
