Meet Tori Bilas, the Artist Behind the DIHP Prize List Covers

For the past several years, artist Tori Bilas has brought her creative eye to Desert International Horse Park, using digital art to design prize list covers that set the tone for each show circuit. While her role in equestrian communications sharpened her ability to tell stories visually and connect with the sport’s community, her true passion has always been with a paintbrush.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tori has been painting since she was a young child, a path that led her to earn a fine art degree from Duke University and a business degree from Wake Forest. Today, she brings together her professional experience in equestrian media with her lifelong artistic training, blending storytelling, design and classical technique into every piece she creates.

Her work is guided by a deep appreciation for the partnership between horse and rider. An avid show jumper, dog mom and giver of treats, Tori strives to capture more than a likeness when it comes to her client’s animals; she conveys the spirit, personality and bond that makes each subject unique.

Tori offers custom oil paintings of all sizes, as well as smaller-scale drawings and fine art prints. Each commission is crafted with care and precision, honoring life’s most meaningful moments with the animals we love most.

To inquire or learn more about Tori’s equine or dog portraits, visit toribilasstudios.com or reach out to her at tori@toribilasstudios.com. Her portraits make wonderful, personalized gifts, but her holiday commission list fills up early, so be sure to act quickly!
