Harrisburg, Pa. – July 27, 2026 – Time is running out to apply for 2026 grant funding from the Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) Foundation. Equine rescue programs and therapeutic riding centers are encouraged to submit completed applications by July 31.
For more than 25 years, the PNHS Foundation has remained committed to its mission of “enriching lives through equestrian sport”. Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1999, the foundation awards grants each year to organizations that improve the lives of horses and people through equine-assisted services.
Grant funding helps organizations provide veterinary care, purchase therapy equipment, expand program offerings, fund student scholarships and support other critical needs. In 2025, the PNHS Foundation awarded $125,000 in grants to 59 equine rescue and therapeutic riding programs.
Applications may be submitted by email to susie@panational.org or by mail to PNHS Foundation, P.O. Box 6815, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Applicants should use only one submission method; email is preferred.
Following the conclusion of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show’s 80th anniversary, to be held Oct. 8–18 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, all grant applications will be reviewed.
