Harrisburg, PA – The prize list for the 77th annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show, to be held October 12-22, 2023, at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa., is now available online here.
Entries will open at 2 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, July 20, and can be completed online at entries.showmanagementsystem.com, with entry closing dates as follows:
- Hunter and jumper divisions – Thursday, August 31
- Equitation and side saddle classes – Monday, September 11
Qualifying lists will be made available following the final close of equitation and side saddle entries on September 11, 2023.
Competition highlights for the 2023 Pennsylvania National Horse Show include:
- an all-new, expanded 11-day schedule,
- the $100,000 Grand Prix de Penn National,
- the US Equestrian/National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Junior Hunter Seat Medal Final – East,
- the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal,
- the USEF Junior Jumper Individual National Championship and USEF Prix des States Team Championship,
- the Penn National Children’s and Adult Hunter Championships,
- the Penn National Children’s, Adult, Low Junior and Low Amateur Jumper Championships
- and much, much more!
Over the course of the 11 days of competition, the PNHS will offer hunter and jumper exhibitors more than $650,000 in prize money.
Presiding over the 2023 event will be equitation judges Jack Towell and Timmy Kees and hunter judges Mike Rosser, Shane George, Bob Crandall, Keri Kampsen and Patrick Rodes. Designing the courses for the week will be hunter course designer Thomas Hern and jumper course designer Nicholas Granat.
Hunt Night entries will be accepted by way of a nomination form or a letter from the Master of the Hunt stating the individual or Hunt’s intention to compete. Hunt Night nominations and nomination fees are due by Wednesday, September 6.
